At the latest Oogah Rodder’s Breakfast held yesterday at the Swanson RSA, community, classic cars, and fire safety came together in a memorable way.
As part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement and fire safety awareness, PSL Fire & Safety proudly provided a Home Safety Pack as the featured prize for this month’s event.
In partnership with the Oogah Rodders and with the support of Deputy Chief Fire Office Shaw, who arranged for the Waitākere Fire Truck and crew to be onsite, the breakfast turned into a fantastic opportunity to promote fire preparedness while celebrating local motoring passion.
A highlight of the morning came during the prize draw. One of the regular attendees, Doug, owner of a striking 1975 Ford LTD—painted fittingly in red and black—chose number 75 in the draw. In a twist of fate, that very number was drawn, making Doug the lucky winner of the PSL Home Safety Pack.
Mark from PSL was on hand to present the prize, congratulating Doug and reminding everyone of the importance of having working smoke alarms, fire blankets, and extinguishers at home.
It was a great morning filled with classic cars, good company, and a strong message: fire safety starts at home.
