What makes a Flashlight Safe?
Products must pass a battery of rigorous tests conducted by safety agencies before getting a stamp of approval. When you're in a potentially hazardous environment, using a flashlight that carry these approvals is vital.
* A flashlight with a Class 1, Div. 1 approval is safe for use in situations rated Class 2 or 3. Likewise, a Class 3, Div. 1 approved flashlight is not safe to operate in situations rated Class2 or 1.
